Global Education Services, Inc. (GESI) was established in spring 2022 as a higher education agency to connect students to campuses and employers.
GESI offers a lifetime pathway for students to pursue their higher education and professional career.
GESI provides a rapid response platform for recruitment, counseling, and placement of international students in U.S. colleges and universities.
Dr. Mani Sangaran Hull is a veteran higher education specialist. She came to the United States as an international student from Malaysia in 1981. Over the past 40 years, she has provided technical and administrative leadership to non-profits and for-profits, public and private higher education institutions, as well as federal and state government agencies. She directed the development of technical and cost proposals for over 500 education related grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements with government agencies, multi-national corporations, consulting firms, and academic institutions. Dr. Hull managed technical, financial, and administrative aspects of 13 long-term international development projects totaling $43,000,000. She recruited and fielded over 1,000 consultants for international development projects. She has hired 300 administrative staff and managed personnel administration for 900 employees. She has mentored and assisted over 2,500 international and domestic students in gaining admission to colleges and universities across the U.S. Her volunteer service includes serving as the President of the Sri Sathya Sai Nashville Center as well as a Board Member of the United Nations Association Nashville Cordell Hull Chapter. Dr. Hull earned an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership & Policy from Vanderbilt University in 2010.
Dr. Galen Spencer Hull is an educator and veteran international development consultant with over 50 years of experience in over 80 countries. He served as Director of the Office of International Business Programs in the College of Business at Tennessee State University (TSU) from 1999 until his retirement in 2011. In this capacity, he managed numerous international faculty and student exchanges and study abroad programs. These included linkages between the TSU College of Business and management training institutions and universities in Malawi, Ukraine, Tunisia, Thailand, China, and Jamaica. He taught courses in international business management and economic development and conducted research on immigrant entrepreneurship in Middle Tennessee. Dr. Hull managed a U.S. Department of Education grant encouraging immigrant high school students to continue on to college, thus increasing enrollment of under-represented student population at TSU. He is the recipient of many leadership and service awards including a lifetime service award named after him by the United Nations Association Cordell Hull Nashville Chapter in fall 2022. Dr. Hull earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Northwestern University in 1974.
A distinguished scientist and a leader in higher education management. He served as the professor and Vice Chancellor of University of Pune (now renamed as Savitribai Phule Pune University), Pune, KIIT - Deemed University, Bhubaneswar, and Founding Vice Chancellor of “The Neotia University” (TNU), Kolkata. He was also Advisor, National Knowledge Commission established by the Prime Minister of India. He was a member on the boards of various higher education institutions and universities including Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore). He has started several innovative programs in all the institutions he headed and implemented highly effective administrative initiatives to provide high quality education. He was the Managing Director of DSK Global Education & Research Pvt. Ltd., Pune. He served on the boards of several Indian companies. Prof. Kolaskar’s academic career in the United States includes a tenure at American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) in Manassas, Virginia as the Director of Bioinformatics, Affiliate Professor at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, Courtesy Professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and Visiting Professor at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. He worked as a consultant to Internet2, a consortium of US Research Universities that helps connect them with National Knowledge Network of India. Since July 2022, Prof. Kolaskar serves as a Senior Advisor to Global Education Services, Inc. based in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
Rashmi has earned a BBA in Healthcare Services Administration from Strayer University and pursing her master’s from Capella University in Healthcare Administration (MHA). Throughout her college education, she has worked in internship and administrative capacities with various businesses in healthcare, the hospitality sector, as well as in higher education. Since her youth, she has served as an outstanding tutor and exemplary volunteer contributing thousands of service hours to community non-profits in the United States. In this role, she directs operations to counsel and connects international students to campuses nationwide. Rashmi was born in India and began her life in the U.S. in the second grade. She speaks four languages and is a seasoned world traveler.
